Bermain Game LAN Diluar Jaringan LAN

Judul diatas rada bingung ya ? Maen LAN tapi kok diluar jaringan LAN. Ilustrasinya begini biar simple. Saya kerja di Tanjung Duren, terus saya punya temen kerja di Sudirman dan Kuningan. Nah kita ini ceritanya pengen maen game bareng.
Lah kan maen online juga bisa ?
Emang bisa tapi ada yg memerlukan registrasi id dulu baru bisa main cth : dota musti regis indogamer dulu)
Lantas pake apa dong ? Emang bisa gitu maen nge-LAN ama temen diluar kantor kita ?
Bisa dong, kalo ga ngapain saya tulis ini.

Persiapan dan syarat:
*. Anda harus terhubung dengan internet
*. Download software hamachi di https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/

Langkah2 untuk server :
*. Install hamachi biarkan sesuai default optionnya.
*. Pilih nickname anda sebagai pengenal bagi teman2 anda, lalu connect.
*. Anda akan bertindak sebagai server LAN, jadi anda harus meng-create network
    Create or join networks -> Create a new network
    Beri nama room anda dan beri password (Kasih tau temen anda)
*. Selesai, network anda sudah ready tunggu hingga teman2 anda join.

Langkah2 untuk client :
*. Install hamachi biarkan sesuai default optionnya.
*. Pilih nickname anda sebagai pengenal bagi teman2 anda, lalu connect.
*. Connect ke jaringan server
    Create or join networks -> Join an existing network
    Masukan nama dan password jaringannya. (Minta informasi ini ke server yg create)

Selesai anda sudah bisa create game warcraft atau cs seperti bermain LAN biasa.

Bagaimana cara kerja hamachi ini ?
Hamachi ini menggunakan VPN (Virtual Private Networking) dengan berbasis UDP. Hamachi menggunakan perantara mediasi server untuk merelokasi teman jaringan kita dan menghubungkannya. Mirip dengan p2p / torrent, akan tetapi lebih secure dengan enkripsi dan authentikasi. Sekedar tambahan, namun bukan promosi karena saya juga tidak dapat komisi, Hamachi ini mendapatkan penghargaan dari PCMagazine.
